Since 1974

Our Story

Fifty years of God's faithfulness in Palm Coast — from a handful of families meeting in living rooms to a church family helping people know and love like Jesus.

  1. 1974

    A church is planted

Our congregation began meeting in private residences in the emerging Palm Coast community. With help from the Florida Baptist Convention, First Baptist of Daytona Beach, and First Baptist Bunnell, a facility was built at 301 Palm Coast Parkway — and the first worship service was held there on March 19, 1978.

  2. 1983–1988

    Growing together

As Palm Coast grew, so did the church. The campus expanded with a 600-seat worship center and a two-story education and fellowship building to serve a growing family of believers.

  3. 2001–2003

    A new home

The church sold the 301 Palm Coast Parkway property and purchased 10 acres on Palm Coast Parkway NW, a quarter mile from US 1. Phase I — a worship center, fellowship hall, classrooms, and preschool — opened its doors, and services began at the current facility on January 5, 2003.

    Room to serve

Phase II added an activity center and fellowship hall, 16 classrooms, 5 preschool classrooms, and expanded parking — space that today hosts student ministry and Bible study every week.

    Building for the future

The second story of the education building was completed in 2023, and in 2024 the church purchased adjacent property and brought the Academy back on campus. Now a 23-acre campus with nearly one hundred thousand square feet of classroom space, FBC Palm Coast provides over one million hours of Christian education each year — and we're still growing.
